12/27/2016 4 Comments Transition FunkStomach aches, laughing hysterically, picture looking lots of picture looking, tears, oh my word, WHY did we buy so many shoes, one last Visit to Chick fil A, one last hug, more tears, suitcases lining the hallway and into the bedrooms, ziplock baggies, lots of ziplock baggies, tears just thinking about one last hug, home again, happy puppy dogs, afternoons outside with friends and sleep lots of sleep...this is enough to make anyone crazy!
Transition funk always starts when we make the shift from one of our homes to the other home. It never gets easier! We have had an incredibly encouraging time in the states! We have been so blessed to have reconnected with so many friends, spent lots of quality time with family and built some new friendships. We have been renewed and reminded of the passion we have for the life we live and those we love and minister to in Guatemala. Please pray for us over the next few days as we experience an entire roller coaster of emotions. These will hit us all at different times with different intensity. Pray we are patient with each other and ourselves. Pray for a smooth trip to Houston and through all the lines in the airport and no surprises or issues in immigration once we reach Guatemala. Thank you friends and family for all the love and support you have shown over the last two months. We made memories we will not soon forget!
