Welcome to Lastrapes Legacy!  

We are Gerald and Sarah Lastrapes, missionaries to Guatemala. We hope you find this website informative and encouraging as we seek to share with you our journey of faith as God guides us in this ministry. Jerry and Sarah are currently team teaching in a Women's Shelter sharing the Bible, playing, praying and living life with ladies and children. Gerald has recently joined a teaching team made up of Guatemalan men and a veteran missionary. They work together teaching the Bible in a local prison via a three year program that has been approved by the Guatemalan Department of Education. The Lastrapes will be working with a team of missionaries with many years of experience in missions and church education and look forward to the work God has called them to.
